Iran is the biggest loser in the Gaza war

The Islamic Republic of Iran chose not to escalate against Israel, and decided to “rein in the armed factions” in Lebanon and Syria, and decided to remain neutral in a war that is supposed to be a war for the Islamic holy sites and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Thus, the Islamic Republic has decided to leap beyond principles. Which it promoted for decades, and based on which it established the legitimacy of the ruling regime in the Islamic Republic, and decided to restrict the hand of the Lebanese Hezbollah and prevent it from confronting the barbaric, barbaric, criminal, racist, Zionist aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The problem in Iran today is that the political regime in Tehran cannot, after today, talk about the principles of defending Islamic holy sites, in Holy Jerusalem, and repeatedly talk about the “Great Satan” and claim to support the Palestinian cause, because it has watched scenes of blood and destruction for 4 weeks. The massacres committed against children, women and civilians are just like any political regime that has diplomatic relations with Israel.
The question here is the following: What is the difference between the position of the Kingdom of Morocco or the Arab Emirates on the Israeli massacres and the position of Iran? In fact, there is no difference. Rather, the position of the Republic of Egypt, which has a peace treaty with Israel, seemed more advanced than the position of Iran, and this is a big problem. It reveals the fact that Tehran puts its national and state interests first and foremost before the Islamic interests on which the Iranian official discourse is based. This is a natural position for any country that believes that the interests of its people at home are the foundation on which all of the state’s internal and external policies are built. It is the same basis on which countries normalize relations with the Zionist entity.
